The Sisterlocks® Package

Authorized Consultants offer Sisterlocks® as a package of 3 visits, including a Consultation, the Locking Session and your First Re-Tightening Session

The Consultation

During this session you and your consultant will discuss your personal hair care history, your styling preferences and your lifestyle in order to determine if Sisterlocks are right for you. You will also have "Test Locks" placed in your hair to see if they will hold, determine parting sizes and discuss settling in phase. This consultation is essential for both you and your Consultant to ensure you get Sisterlocks done in the most suitable way.

The Locking Session

Bring entertainment with you because the locking session can take from 10-16 hours (over 2 day period) or even longer in some cases. The average Sisterlocks customer will leave this session with an average of 400-500 locks (depending on density) and whole new attitude! Your Consultant will provide you with a "Starter Kit". Be sure to schedule your first re-tightening session before you leave. Good maintenance is the key to gorgeous Sisterlocks over time.

First Re-Tightening Session

You will need to schedule your follow-up appointment. In His Image Salon is a full service salon and all shampoo services are included. However, your Consultant will prepare you with grooming tips and a shampooing technique for home maintenance. Your Consultant will monitor the integrity of your locks, tighten and give you an idea of how long the settling in process is like;y to take. You can also begin discussing styling tips for the "total look" that's right for you.

Ongoing Re-tightening Session

We recommend that you schedule your re-tightening visits at 4-6 week intervals. This way, the progress of your locks can be monitored. As your locks mature, your consultant will be able to determine how often you will need to come in for re-tightening. The average time between visits is 4-8 weeks depending on hair type and rate of hair growth. A re-tightening over 8 weeks will result in additional charges.

In order for Sisterlocks to be uniformed in appearance and remain strong and healthy, we must form a partnership. This partnership means agreeing to be consistent with re-tightening appointments, following post appointment instructions and using recommended products.
